Customers and purchase history

Find customer emails and account-linked orders without creating duplicate customer profiles.

Open Content/Store → Store → Customers. This view uses the website’s existing site accounts. It replaces the old Customer profiles navigation item.

Find a customer

Search by name or email. The list shows the account name, email, status, and linked order count. Accounts can appear before they have placed an order.

Open a customer to see their email, saved addresses when available, and linked order history. Select an order reference to open its record. The history shows paid, refunded, and reserved orders; use Orders when investigating other checkout states.

No separate profile to create

Staff do not create a second customer profile. Registration and sign-in establish the site account, and the customer can save their own addresses through the account flow. Existing address records are retained.

Changing a name or storing an address is not a way to create a login or grant access. For registration settings, open Site settings → Account settings.

Guest purchases

Choose Guest purchases to review orders that are not linked to a registered account. These show the name and email recorded at checkout when supplied.

A matching email address alone does not move an order into an account. Do not create duplicate identities to make an order appear in customer history. Use the supported account order-claim flow when offered, or investigate the purchase reference with support.

Missing access or orders

Store visibility depends on your role and the site’s installed features. Ask the workspace owner to review store and publishing permissions if Customers is unavailable.

Check the account, guest purchases, payment environment, and order state before concluding an order is missing. See Manage orders for fulfillment, downloads, tickets, and refunds.
