Finish the import

The first preview can be ready before all of a large site has been imported. Use the migration’s Next steps document to see what has arrived and what still needs work.

Open the remaining work

1. Open the site and its migration session.
2. Select Next steps in the migration handoff.
3. Review the imported page and content counts.
4. Read any failures and the list of unimported addresses.

The list contains addresses found so far. More can be discovered as the import continues, so that count may not be the final size of your website.

Import more pages

Choose Import more pages to bring in the next batch of pages. Progress is saved between batches so you can return later.

Wait for the current batch to finish, then reopen Next steps and review the result. Check any source-page errors before retrying those pages.

Repeat Import more pages for another batch, or ask OffPress AI in the site conversation if you want to arrange a much larger migration. Discovery uses the source’s links and public sitemap. Missing or blocked source pages can affect what is found and imported.

Import remaining media

If the pages are imported but library items remain, Next steps offers Import remaining media. Use it to bring across those files without reimporting the pages. Expand View remaining content for source-page failures, media download failures, and source discovery limits. A blocked source index may mean there is content that was never discovered.

Review a failed source item before retrying it. A finished batch does not guarantee that unavailable source pages or files have been recovered.

Complete a page design

Some older migrations have saved design-completion tasks. If one offers Choose a page to complete, select the page and review its status. Choose Review completion price to see the amount before approving the work.

Check whether the offer applies to that page or a reusable layout. Completing a reusable layout does not replace the content and media review for every page that uses it. Approve only after reviewing the scope and amount, then check the preview when it finishes.

Older migrations may show a numbered migration guide. Follow the next available step in that guide and review any approval or billing message before continuing.

Review features that still need setup

If ad placements were preserved, they may be empty until you connect your own advertising account or replace them with your own banners. Tell OffPress which placements to configure or remove. Imported advertising scripts are not automatically a working ad connection.

Check forms, store setup, and other connections separately. Finish with Review an imported site before publishing.
