History and recovery
Review earlier code versions and choose the right way to recover a change.
Use the session history to understand what was requested. Use code version history to inspect saved versions of the site code. They serve different purposes.
Find the work that changed the site
Open the relevant conversation under Sessions, or open Activity and find the task. Read the request and result before deciding what to undo.
For a small correction, a follow-up request can be easier than reverting the whole code version.
Revert site code
- Open Settings → Code and open the code view.
- Select History.
- Find the earlier version you want.
- Select Revert beside that version.
- Wait for the change, then review the preview.
- Publish when you want that code version on the live site.
Reverting changes the site code. It is not a restore of every page record, order, subscriber, or uploaded file. If you need data restored, describe the missing item and when it was last present when you contact OffPress.
Recover a removed site
Open Removed sites in your sites list and use Restore before the displayed retention time runs out. A permanently deleted site cannot be recovered through this control. See Manage your sites.
