Make requests and review work

Give OffPress a clear task and keep control of larger changes.

One clear request is easier to review than several unrelated changes at once. Use a separate session for a new topic and return to the same session for follow-up work.

Describe the task

Include the page or feature, the result you want, and anything that must stay the same. Attach an example if it helps.

On /contact, add our opening hours below the address. Monday to Friday, 9 to 5. Keep the form and map as they are.

For a larger task, ask for a plan first:

I want customers to book workshops. Explain what needs to change and what I need to set up. Wait for my approval before building it.

Choose the effort level

The message box has an effort selector. Higher effort can help with harder requests and can use more of your work balance. Start with the default for ordinary changes. See Billing and work balance.

Review progress and results

Read the progress messages and the final reply. Open the preview and test the changed behavior. If something is wrong, describe the result you saw and the result you expected.

Use Stop if the current request should stop. Wait for it to finish stopping before starting conflicting work on the same part of the site.

Pause or continue a long request

Work settings control whether OffPress pauses at a work limit or continues. If it pauses, your progress is saved. Review the result before choosing whether to continue.

An attempt or a reply can use your work balance even when you decide not to keep the result. Set work limits before starting a large request.

Find earlier work

Open a saved conversation under Sessions, below the main menu. Activity helps you find work across the site. Continue the relevant session so the request and follow-ups stay together.
