Sessions and saved work
Start a new conversation deliberately and return to earlier work without losing its context.
A session keeps a request, its progress, and follow-up messages together. Give unrelated work its own session.
Start a session
- Choose the relevant area, such as OffPress, Site Design, Content, or Scheduling.
- Select New session to start a separate conversation. Opening an area may restore the conversation you last used there.
- Enter your request, or choose a suggestion and review it before sending.
- Send the message to begin work.
Use the title’s rename control when shown. A name such as “Update workshop dates” is easier to recognize later.
Return to a conversation
The Sessions list sits below the main menu and brings saved conversations together. Select one to read its messages and continue. Switching areas does not itself publish a change or start a new task.
For a correction, reply in the original session with what you expected and what happened. Use Activity to find work across the site and open its related conversation.
Continue a saved task
Some migration follow-ups open as saved tasks. Read their Instructions. Save keeps edited instructions; Start begins the work. A saved instruction is not a running task.
Follow any page-selection or approval controls shown on older migrations. See Finish the import.
Work safely with others
Check for active work before starting changes to the same feature. Use Stop if a request should stop, and let it finish stopping before submitting conflicting work. Your conversation history and the site’s code history are different; see History and recovery.
