What an import includes

Understand what to review and what needs separate setup.

OffPress uses the content and design it can read from your existing site. What arrives depends on the source site, its access settings, and the features it uses.

Content and design

Review the imported pages, posts, media, navigation, page addresses, and search metadata. Route/layout counts, content-record counts, and media counts describe different parts of the import; a prepared page layout does not prove every linked record or file is present. The import aims to bring across your current design, but you should compare the result on desktop and phone screens.

Some layouts or interactive features may need a follow-up request. Tell OffPress which page to change and how it should behave.

Keep the original site available

Importing does not move your domain or cancel your old hosting. Keep the old site available until you have reviewed the preview, published the new site, and checked your domain.

Use Review an imported site as your checklist. If you find missing content, give OffPress the original page address and describe what is missing.
