Set work limits

Work settings help you control long requests and spending. They do not change the price of hosting.

Set the workspace baseline

1. Open your sites area and select the correct workspace.
2. Open Billing and find Work settings.
3. Choose Pause and ask me or Continue until complete for long requests.
4. Set a per-request credit checkpoint if you want one.
5. Save the settings.

Pause and ask me gives you a chance to review progress at the work limit. Continue until complete allows more work to continue, subject to other limits and required approvals.

Choose settings for one site

1. Open the site and select Settings.
2. Open Billing and find Work settings.
3. Clear Use workspace baseline.
4. Choose the site’s behavior and save with Save work settings.

Use the spending controls in workspace Billing for site budgets and credit limits. Your role must allow these changes.

Understand a credit checkpoint

A checkpoint is checked between work steps. A step already running can take the total beyond it. It is not an exact cap on the final cost of that step.

Required approvals still apply, and you can still use Stop. If work pauses, review the saved progress before continuing.

If work will not start, check your balance, the site’s budget, and your team permissions.
