What actually changes when I move to OffPress?
Your old site is rebuilt on Next.js with Payload for content and Postgres for data. The aim is to keep your content, media, design, and URLs. You can then edit the site in the CMS or ask AI to make changes.
Will I lose my content or search visibility?
OffPress is built to carry posts, pages, media, URLs, and SEO metadata across. Check what was imported and review the preview before switching your domain. Search rankings depend on many factors and cannot be guaranteed; custom plugin behavior and private data may need separate work.
Can I keep my design?
Yes. OffPress starts by rebuilding your existing design. You can then ask for small adjustments or a full redesign and check the result in your preview.
Can I start without an existing website?
Yes. Start from scratch with a site name and a description of what you want to build. You get the same CMS, code access, and AI tools as a migrated site.
Do I own the code?
Yes. You can browse your code in OffPress and connect GitHub to sync the project to your own repository. Your site uses real Next.js and Payload code. Moving hosting also requires moving your data, media, configuration, and service connections.
Do I need to be a developer?
No. Describe changes in conversation or edit content in the CMS. Developers can work with the code, collections, fields, hooks, and APIs directly. Both approaches work on the same site.
